  2. a) When Visiting the Website

When you visit our website www.artix-energysystems.com, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website from which access is made (referrer URL),
  • Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The aforementioned data is processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website,
  • Ensuring comfortable use of our website,

The personal data provided by the user for the purpose of purchasing goods or services will be processed by the provider for the purpose of executing the contract. The provision of data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract; without providing the data, the contract cannot be concluded. The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. After complete execution of the contract, the user’s data will be deleted, taking into account tax and commercial law retention periods.

The personal data of the user will be transferred to the transport company commissioned with the delivery or to the financial service provider to the extent necessary for the delivery or payment of the goods. The legal basis for the transfer of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

When applying for a job, the application data is electronically collected and processed by the provider for the purpose of handling the application process. This also includes forwarding the applicant’s profile to the third party named in the job offer if the provider advertises the position for a partner company.

The legal basis for processing to carry out the application process is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

If your application leads to the conclusion of an employment contract, the transmitted data may be stored in the employee’s personnel file for the purpose of standard organizational and administrative processes, in compliance with legal regulations.

The legal basis for processing data for the purpose of the employment relationship is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, and if the provider is legally obliged to process employee data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR.

The deletion of the transmitted data will occur automatically two months after the rejection of the job application unless a longer storage period of up to four months or until the conclusion of a legal proceeding is required due to legal requirements (evidence obligations according to the General Equal Treatment Act, AGG).

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR or § 24 para. 1 No. 2 BDSG. The provider’s legitimate interest lies in legal defense.

If explicit consent has been given for longer storage of the data in a prospect database, the data will be further processed based on this consent and deleted no later than 12 months thereafter.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. The consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR by notifying the provider.

  • Request the restriction of processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR where the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful, but you oppose its erasure, and we no longer need the data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
